Professional Nurses Service is a leader in developing innovative, cost-effective programs for adults recovering from a brain injury.
We were among the first in Vermont to develop a home-based community re-entry program to individuals wanting to return to their homes and families while recovering from the physical or cognitive impairments of a traumatic brain injury (TBI) or stroke can create. We offer:
• Cognitive reeducation
• Nursing expertise for physical challenges
• Transportation to and from physician appointments and related medical providers
• Respite care to families
• Supportive employment
All our nurses and nursing assistants who work with clients recovering from a brain injury have completed advanced education and earned certification for this specialty service.
